Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods throughout Raleigh metropolitan area
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to meet tight deadlines
- Load/unload packages with attention to prevent damage or loss
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain required signatures
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class A/B) or clean Class C license
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Excellent knowledge of Raleigh area and surrounding counties
- Ability to lift packages up to 75 pounds regularly
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays as needed
