Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and goods using company vehicles while adhering to all traffic laws
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon completion
- Inspect vehicles daily to ensure optimal safety and performance standards
- Communicate professionally with clients and dispatch teams regarding delivery status
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures and inventory management
- Report mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately to maintenance team
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience with delivery background preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery tracking systems
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet tight delivery deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
- Availability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
