Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and materials to designated locations
- Plan efficient daily routes using GPS navigation systems while adhering to delivery schedules
- Verify delivery accuracy through electronic signature collection and inventory checks
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain professional communication with clients and dispatch teams throughout delivery process
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and maintain clean, organized cargo areas
Qualifications
- Valid New Mexico driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Albuquerque metro area streets and traffic patterns
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery tracking systems
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
