Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations throughout Colorado Springs
- Maintain accurate delivery records using our mobile tracking system and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly to ensure fleet safety and reliability
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including answering inquiries and resolving delivery issues
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals while adhering to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Load and unload packages with care, using proper lifting techniques to prevent damage or injury
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status, delays, or route changes
- Represent Peak Logistics professionally through punctual appearance and courteous interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience with commercial or delivery vehicle background
- Ability to lift packages up to 60 pounds repeatedly and maneuver through various delivery environments
- Strong time management skills with ability to follow schedules and meet delivery deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic technology
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional logistics training preferred
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration
