Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, or goods to residential and commercial addresses within the Raleigh metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions at delivery points
- Assist with loading/unloading packages and maintaining organized cargo
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and customers
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and vehicle operation standards
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience (commercial or delivery preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Raleigh streets, highways, and navigation tools
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication skills and customer service mindset
- Reliable transportation to and from assigned depot
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
