Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in Oakland
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes using provided navigation technology
- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at distribution center
- Communicate delivery status and delays promptly to dispatch
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Oakland streets and surrounding areas
- Proficiency with smartphone apps and GPS navigation
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
