Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated addresses in Illinois and surrounding regions.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo carefully, ensuring proper handling and placement.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients and resolving delivery issues.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and digital tracking systems.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and presentable.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B or equivalent commercial driving experience.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience in a professional logistics or delivery environment.
- Strong knowledge of local and regional geography in Illinois.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Must have a clean driving record with no major infractions.
