Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper documentation and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Represent the RoadRunner Transport brand professionally at all times.
Qualifications
- Current Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and obtain a Medical Certificate.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate diverse road conditions.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules and adhere to strict delivery deadlines.
