Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain company tractor-trailers on dedicated routes
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain accurate logbooks
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety compliance
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load management
- Comply with all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Represent Nashville Express Logistics with professionalism at all delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations
- Excellent time management and route planning skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team communication
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside repairs
- Willingness to travel overnight with guaranteed weekly home time
