Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated routes between Northern California and Pacific Northwest states
- Maintain meticulous DOT-compliant logs and electronic records using our advanced fleet management system
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Load/unload freight with precision, ensuring secure and damage-free transportation
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status and route adjustments
- Adhere strictly to all FMCSA regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Represent Premier Transport Solutions professionally at customer facilities and during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, or at-fatal accidents in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and comprehensive background check
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices and route planning software
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety excellence
- Physical capability to handle freight up to 70 lbs and climb into tractor cabs
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Regional route knowledge or willingness to learn Northern California/PNW territories
