Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes within the Southwest
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) compliance
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient loading/unloading and schedule adherence
- Ensure proper cargo securement and temperature control for sensitive freight
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with logistics team regarding route conditions and delays
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with ELD compliance and electronic logging systems
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
