Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic logs (ELD)
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch for on-time deliveries and route optimization
- Represent the company professionally with all clients and stakeholders
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with logistics team and customers
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with dedicated routes preferred
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in ELD systems and route navigation
- Strong safety record and defensive driving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle loading/unloading duties
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips (1-2 nights/month)
