Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Adhere strictly to federal/state regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Load/unload cargo securely and verify shipment documentation
- Communicate effectively with customers and warehouse personnel
- Report mechanical issues immediately and participate in preventive maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) usage
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
