Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks or tractor-trailers) following DOT regulations
- Transport freight between Seattle distribution centers and regional destinations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for route optimization and delivery scheduling
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of cargo using proper equipment
- Adapt to changing weather conditions and traffic patterns in urban environments
- Document delivery exceptions and maintain customer communication
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Seattle metro area and Pacific Northwest routes
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (training provided if needed)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Must be 21+ years old with clean MVR
