Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on designated routes throughout Dallas/Fort Worth area
- Load/unload freight with precision using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Complete meticulous pre-trip inspections and log maintenance records
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Manage delivery schedules to maintain on-time performance
- Report vehicle maintenance issues and coordinate repairs
- Utilize GPS technology for route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly and operate heavy equipment
- Strong knowledge of Dallas/Fort Worth road networks
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team communication
- Flexibility for early morning start times (typically 4:00 AM)
