Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain your own box truck for local/regional freight delivery
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and optimize routes for efficiency
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Complete all required documentation (BOLs, logs, inspections)
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
- Manage vehicle maintenance and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Reliable box truck (26ft+ preferred) in good condition
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to pass background/drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
