Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight delivery
- Coordinate with dispatch to optimize delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain compliance records
- Manage customer interactions and delivery confirmations
- Plan efficient routes using provided GPS tools
- Report maintenance needs and coordinate repairs
- Adhere to FMCSA safety regulations and HOS guidelines
- Handle specialized freight (e.g., temperature-sensitive, oversized)
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class B license with clean MVR (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year box truck experience
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements
- Reliable box truck (26ft max) in good working condition
- Basic GPS navigation and smartphone proficiency
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Pass background check and drug screening
