Responsibilities
- Operate box truck for safe, timely local/regional deliveries
- Manage pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Handle freight loading/unloading with proper equipment
- Submit accurate delivery reports and billing paperwork
- Communicate with clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with DOT regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset and reliability
- Must have own DOT-compliant box truck or be open to leasing
