Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for multi-stop local and regional deliveries
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and on-time performance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and digital documentation
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to resolve delivery exceptions
- Ensure secure cargo handling and compliance with DOT regulations
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable box truck experience
- Strong knowledge of Madison metro and Wisconsin routes
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate loading equipment
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements
- Reliable personal box truck (2015+ model preferred)
- Commercial auto insurance ($1M liability minimum)
