Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain your box truck to meet DOT compliance standards
- Deliver freight to commercial and residential locations across Atlanta metro area
- Load/unload shipments with precision and care using provided equipment
- Optimize routes for timely delivery while adhering to appointment windows
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate status updates via mobile app
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient scheduling and problem resolution
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience in commercial freight
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Atlanta metro area and Georgia highway systems
- Reliable box truck (2008 or newer) in excellent mechanical condition
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability coverage)
- Smartphone with reliable internet for dispatch communication
- Strong time management and customer service orientation
