Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain a DOT-compliant box truck for regional freight delivery
- Optimize routes to meet tight deadlines while ensuring cargo integrity
- Coordinate with dispatchers for real-time load assignments and updates
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and maintain vehicle logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during dock operations and client interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections to ensure safety compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability)
- DOT medical certification and current physical card
- Reliable late-model box truck (26' or larger)
- Proficient in GPS navigation and basic smartphone apps
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and climb/descend safely
