Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage delivery paperwork and electronic logging systems
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Ohio traffic laws and regional route navigation
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight shifts as needed
- Basic computer literacy for electronic documentation
