Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) for regional freight transport
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes while adhering to DOT regulations
- Inspect and maintain vehicle pre/post-trip documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Build strong relationships with clients and warehouse staff
- Utilize GPS technology for precise navigation and ETAs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Kansas City metro area and surrounding routes
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Flexibility for overnight/weekend shifts when needed
