Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53' dry van reefers) to transport freight
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips and report maintenance needs
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
- Coordinate with dispatch team for on-time deliveries
- Secure cargo properly for transit safety
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- 2+ years of commercial freight driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement techniques
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for early morning start times
