Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Utilize electronic logging devices (ELD) for compliance tracking
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of regional routes and Kansas geography
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Forklift certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
