Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul freight delivery
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and optimize delivery routes for efficiency
- Coordinate with dispatch teams and clients for seamless logistics operations
- Secure and unload freight using proper loading techniques
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and required documentation
- Respond proactively to route disruptions and weather conditions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility for irregular schedules and overnight stays
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside repairs
- Excellent communication skills in English
