Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking records
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of cargo at distribution centers
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and route navigation abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight shifts as needed
