Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight safely and efficiently
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan optimal routes using GPS technology to meet delivery deadlines
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of freight at client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Texas roadways and regional logistics
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside repairs
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
