Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial freight vehicles for regional and long-haul deliveries
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic logging system compliance
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and delivery schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and route planning
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation management systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Clean background check and no major moving violations in past 3 years
