Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance documentation
- Load/unload shipments using pallet jacks and forklifts when required
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain electronic logs (ELD) compliance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Manage paperwork including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
- Participate in quarterly safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of mountain driving conditions and winter weather protocols
- Basic proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading operations
- Must be at least 23 years of age with clean MVR for past 3 years
