Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers for regional freight delivery
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Handle secure cargo loading/unloading procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Utilize telematics systems for real-time tracking
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb equipment safely
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of Florida highway regulations
- Basic GPS navigation proficiency
- Flexibility for overnight regional routes
