Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial freight vehicles for local and long-haul deliveries across Alaska
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment following safety protocols
- Manage delivery documentation and communicate with dispatch teams
- Navigate challenging Alaskan terrain and weather conditions
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Knowledge of Alaska roadways and DOT regulations
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
