Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across San Francisco Bay Area
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize routes and ensure on-time deliveries
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse personnel
- Handle specialized freight requiring temperature control or hazardous materials certification
- Maintain clean driving record and participate in ongoing training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Knowledge of San Francisco Bay Area geography and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading/unloading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- DOT medical certification and drug testing compliance
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
