Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 trucks for regional and long-haul freight delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records via remote portal
- Inspect vehicles daily and report maintenance needs through mobile app
- Coordinate with dispatch team from home base before/during routes
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Utilize remote check-in systems for pre/post-trip inspections
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR and no preventable accidents in last 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Experience with electronic logging devices and remote dispatch systems
- Strong time management skills for autonomous route planning
- Knowledge of Midwest geography and major corridors
- Ability to work flexible schedules with remote start options
- Basic proficiency with mobile technology for reporting
