Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight across California
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload cargo using proper techniques and equipment
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS and mapping systems
- Document delivery paperwork and maintain cargo security
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license (Class C minimum)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- No DUI convictions in past 5 years
- Willingness to complete paid training program
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic math and communication skills
- Flexibility for early morning/late night shifts
- Clean background check required
