Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and securement techniques
- Communicate with dispatchers, clients, and warehouse personnel
- Complete delivery documentation and maintain route compliance
- Participate in ongoing safety training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math and communication skills
- Willingness to complete CDL training program (no prior experience needed)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
