Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial freight vehicles across Texas and regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Plan efficient delivery routes while adhering to DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Represent the company professionally with all stakeholders
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) OR commitment to obtain through paid training
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with GPS technology
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
