Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53' dry van reefers) for regional and multi-state routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Adhere to HOS regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Operate in all weather conditions with seasonal preparedness training
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean 3-year record
- No DUI convictions in past 5 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight distribution calculations
- Willingness to work flexible schedules (weekends/holidays)
- Team player with strong communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
