Responsibilities
- Transport freight safely and efficiently to designated delivery locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery times, miles driven, and cargo status via ELD.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Keep the vehicle clean and maintained in excellent working condition.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License (Class A or B preferred, but not required if willing to train).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Willingness to undergo on-the-job training and obtain necessary endorsements.
- Physically capable of standing, lifting, and operating vehicle controls for extended periods.
