Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vans in a timely and professional manner.
- Load and unload freight safely, ensuring proper securing and handling of goods.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is road-ready and safe.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients and resolving delivery issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- A valid Driver's License (Class A or B with CDL preferred, but training provided for qualified candidates).
- A clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 minor violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read maps and GPS navigation systems.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Physical ability to lift heavy packages and stand for extended periods.
