Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial freight vehicles in and around Louisville, KY.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Ensure the securement of cargo to prevent damage during transit.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse staff.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Must have a clean driving record and no major traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a mandatory drug screen and background check.
- Must be physically fit and able to meet DOT physical requirements.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn.
- Basic math and navigation skills are required.
