Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in compliance with all federal, state, and local traffic laws.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and mechanical integrity.
- Load and unload cargo with precision, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date driver logs (ELD/HOS) and complete all necessary delivery paperwork.
- Navigate complex routes efficiently to meet strict delivery deadlines and schedules.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel to ensure high service standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times to minimize risk.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid US driver's license.
