Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks in a safe, legal, and efficient manner at all times.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement of freight.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete daily logs (ELD).
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and time limits.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the truck cab and cargo area at all times.
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, navigation systems, and safety regulations.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
