Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and freight vehicles to deliver goods on time and in perfect condition.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs (DVIR, ELD) in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and navigation.
- Basic English proficiency for communication purposes.
