Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and tractor-trailers in a safe and legally compliant manner at all times.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and weight distribution according to safety standards.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and all required delivery documentation and paperwork.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure zero accidents.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) for the past 3 years with no major violations.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, cargo securement, and safety protocols.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
