Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight across the Columbus metropolitan area and surrounding regions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) logs and documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers at delivery points.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
