Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently to deliver freight to various destinations in the Denver metro area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) to ensure secure transport.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and complete necessary delivery paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route adjustments.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) with Paid Training provided.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) is preferred but not required for applicants willing to train.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and a drug screening.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic English reading and writing skills for logbooks and communication.
