Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial freight vehicles to transport goods within Indianapolis metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and scheduling
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Adapt to changing delivery priorities and time-sensitive shipments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of freight driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis roadways and surrounding areas
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
