Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vans to transport freight across the region.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring weight distribution is correct.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and delivery records (DOT compliance).
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Navigate efficiently through traffic and construction zones in the Seattle metro area.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B) with clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in freight/logistics.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
