Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (53' dry van) for regional freight transport
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Optimize delivery routes for efficiency and on-time performance
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and safety compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with at least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb trailer ladders
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Arizona highway systems and delivery protocols
- Basic computer skills for ELD navigation
- Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays as needed
